Holiday Inn Express Walnut Creek

For this hotel architectural project, AXIS/GFA Architecture + Design was commissioned to reflag the existing Holiday Inn into a Holiday Inn Express. With the change to the new brand, the hotel required all of their public and guest spaces to reflect the new brand’s service profile. AXIS/GFA Architecture + Design oversaw the hotel’s extensive architectural renovation, including its new porte cochere, new two-story lobby entrance, and redesigned great room and dining room. The entire hotel renovation was completed in four months, and the hotel remained open throughout without any disruption to hotel business.
