Shawn Alexander, current Principal Architect at AXIS/GFA Architecture + Design and then Principal in Charge for MBH Architects, oversaw the design and execution of the headquarters for the SF Fire Credit Union. This commercial architecture project consisted of creating an open and spacious working area for credit union employees, as well as welcoming public spaces, hallways, and lobbies for this important financial institution that serves current and former firefighters and their families. The commercial architecture project consisted of a banking hall for customers, along with admin office space. The building is located on a prominent site in the Laurel Heights neighborhood in San Francisco. The two-story design features a dramatic curving glass facade to take advantage of the views of the city skyline.
